With the way I carry and the holster and belt set-up that is most comfortable for me, I’ve had issues with my optics front lens rubbing on my pants. This glare guard stops the wear and tear on my optic lens and with a little practice- hasn’t affected my grouping at all. Im a big fan. Will get one for every optic I use in the future.
I purchased the sun Gard for my wife’s equalizer. From what I can tell it has improved her time to target substantially. Her close range hits are good however her long range hits have deteriorated somewhat. She said she was having a hard time seeing the targets at long range. But this is only the second time using the Sun Gard and only her first match shot with the Sun Gard. So it’s a work in progress. But she did not complain about sun flairs in her red dot, which is why I purchased the Sun Gard.
Absolutely love the look and functionality.
Overall I’m enjoying the product. Installation of the anti-reflective lense cover with gaurd was a little tough. Once it on there it’s on sits secure.
Fits good, looks good, and works good.
