THIS COVER IS DESIGNED FOR 407K-X2 /507K-X2, IT DOES NOT FIT THE DISCONTINUED HOLOSUN 507K MODELS.

The OpticGard Scope cover for the Holosun® 507K-X2/407K-X2 offers protection against stray bullet casings and scratches. The intelligent cut allows the cover to fit most rear and suppressor sights. It also includes a detachable training lens which will allow you to use the red dot even in the sun or bright areas. Our scope covers are made from a material made from TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) offering protection from abrasion. In addition, the fast and simple installation allows easy access to the buttons without removing the cover. Finally, the interlocking pins secures the cover so it won't fall off even with heavy recoil from handgun slides.

Note: Important Information

  • OpticGard Covers may not be compatible with backup sights that are mounted in front of the optic. Sufficient space is needed for the cover to latch onto the front of the optic housing.
  • OpticGard will add approximately 0.08 inches (2mm) to the sides of the optic. If using in conjunction with a holster, please make sure there is sufficient spacing between the holster with the cover on.

an excellent upgrade

I bought the optic cover for the HoloSun 507K-X2 and the compatible GlareGard. After a few minutes of dry-fire practice, I adapted to the experience of aiming as well as I had without the GlareGard. The additional protection for the optic's glass is also a welcome addition. The cover itself seems well designed and constructed, and though the "OD Green" is not quite the same as the OD green gear I had in the Army it still went well with the aftermarket green slide on my EDC. The controls on my optic are still easy to manipulate with the cover, and the inclusion of the optic cover has no effect on holstering and unholstering.

It's exactly what I wanted from these products.

Really Great Cover! Fits Like a Glove

This is the best red dot cover I’ve see. So far. They fit perfectly and they aren’t just rubber that you have to wiggle on. These are sturdy plastic and they snap onto the sight. You can add color to your red dot without having to buy a new one or get it cerakoted. I bought another for my 407C after getting this one.
