I bought the OpicGard as well as the screen anti-glare front insert to use on my Holosun 507 Comp optic. I was really interested in this setup because I wanted to mitigate the glare of the sun when shooting USPSA stages where the sun can play havoc with the glass on the sight. I tried it a couple of days ago at a match and it definitely helped on one of the stages. Then, I stepped up to a stage where the targets were in the shade. With the screen on, he long shots were dark enough it was difficult to shoot them accurately. I figured "no big deal. I'll just pop off the whole cover". It turned into a big deal because the cover fits so tightly I couldn't get the cover off of the sight without going to the "safe table" and struggling with it. It took WAY more effort than I imagined it would. I appreciate making a cover that won't fall off, but this was crazy tight. Now, I can't really use it for match unless I know every stage will be in bright sun. As far as quality goes, the cover is VERY nice, I just can't really use if for why I bought it. That's too bad.
Great product, I just wish it gave the option for the occluded accessory or the anti-glare accessory instead of having to purchase separately.
Such a great addition to an already amazing product this should eventually become the standard
I was skeptical to how effective this cover would be and by itself appearances can be decieving because as soon it was installed I felt the quality and the necessity to protect such expensive products and will be buying future covers for all my optics
Great bit of protection from you optic being ding or scratch, especially for you every day carry. The fit and finish is outstanding!

Great cover for this optic. It stays on very securely. Protection of the optic is very good, within reason. I also bought the glareguard lens cover to have with my optic when holstered and not in use forca bit. I also practiced with it and after getting used to the glareguard, it absoulutely has no affect on my time to aim, or grouping at 35 feet. I have not tried it further out yet. I recommend this cover and the glareguard, especially if your optic does not ship with a cover.

These guards fit really well. I have no doubt that they will protect your sight from getting dinged up. If you’re rough on equipment, I definitely recommend these.
Awesome compliment to the optics covers! The fit is great. This has kept my ACSS Vulcan reticle sharper and more easily discernable at lower brightnesses in most settings, which has led to better CR1632 battery life. It has also kept my handgun-mounted Holosun 507C ACSS a bit cleaner. What's not to like?
Well-made fits great! It is my second one. I am happy with my purchase a five star deal.
Installs easily, looks nice. My only dislike is the cover removes your ability to see the directions for the zeroing turrets so unless you remember you’ll have to guess or remove the cover to zero your optic.
It just makes me whole set up look baddass!

Fits great, added on the glare guard. Does exactly what it was intended for. I like not having to worry if I’m going to scratch my optic. Glare guard is barely visible and actually makes it easier to locate my dot in bright conditions.
I originally bought one of these for myself to try out and loved it. I then ordered 12 for the police department pistols. Works great to protect the optic. Works great for occlusion training as well.
Heck of a piece of gear. They promise and boy do they deliver! Got a pre owned optic for my newest AR. Kinda colorful. Opticgard looked like a good option. Great idea! Great fit.
