The OpticGard Scope cover for the Vortex® Defender-CCW offers protection against stray bullet casings and scratches. The intelligent cut allows the cover to fit most rear and suppressor sights. It also includes a detachable training lens which will allow you to use the red dot even in the sun or bright areas. Our scope covers are made from a material made from TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) offering protection from abrasion. In addition, the fast and simple installation allows easy access to the buttons without removing the cover. Finally, the interlocking pins secures the cover so it won't fall off even with heavy recoil from handgun slides.

Note: Important Information
- OpticGard Covers may not be compatible with backup sights that are mounted in front of the optic. Sufficient space is needed for the cover to latch onto the front of the optic housing.
- OpticGard will add approximately 0.08 inches (2mm) to the sides of the optic. If using in conjunction with a holster, please make sure there is sufficient spacing between the holster with the cover on.

Installation
Put this on a new Glock 43x and a Vortex Defender. Yes, it adds a little bulk to a rig that’s all about being small. However, if I’m gonna wear it at the 4 o’clock position, it’s gonna see its share of knocks and bumps, and I’m thinking it will help bounce off the one ccasional brass strike. The cover fits securely, just clicks easily in to place. I’ve got two other red-dots, so I plan to be back!

Boy do I wish I had this prior to firing the gun. Nicked up the front pretty good. This cover hides the blemishes and adds the protection that was needed in the first place, ordered two more for my competitive shooting guns as well as my concealed carry. Great product!

Fits like a glove over l the scope. Considering a scope is half the price of your weapon it only makes sense to protect it. Great product that does what it says.
