Glare guard for my Holosun 507 comp is great. Mostly occludes the sight but with just enough visibility to see thru the window. Still have target focus with both eyes open. If you run cowitness irons you can still see them. Reduces glare and seems to eliminate ghost dots from appearing.
I have a couple of these for 507 comp and others for EPS and SCS 320. Purpose is for shooting occluded. 500-1000 thru guns for each of them and no issue with product loosening/displacing/detaching. Offers protection as well but that isn't my primary concern. Sure duct tape would work, but worth it for me.
