The OpticGard Scope cover for the Trijicon® SRO offers protection against stray bullet casings and scratches. The intelligent cut allows the cover to fit most rear and suppressor sights. It also includes a detachable training lens which will allow you to use the red dot even in the sun or bright areas. Our scope covers are made from a material made from TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) offering protection from abrasion. In addition, the fast and simple installation allows easy access to the buttons without removing the cover. Finally, the interlocking pins secures the cover so it won't fall off even with heavy recoil from handgun slides.

Are you tired of taping your optic for occlusion training? Our removable training lens is the modern solution!

Note: Important Information

  • OpticGard Covers may not be compatible with backup sights that are mounted in front of the optic. Sufficient space is needed for the cover to latch onto the front of the optic housing.
  • OpticGard covers will only work with AUTHENTIC Trijicon products
  • OpticGard will add approximately 0.08 inches (2mm) to the sides of the optic. If using in conjunction with a holster, please make sure there is sufficient spacing between the holster with the cover on.

It covers my optic but the little piece that protects the lens never fits in the rest. Must be jyst for show. I wanted to protect the lens but it does not fit properly.

Very happy with it, but...

The OptiGard is well made and fits on and off very easily. It provides good optic protection from scratches and bumps while actively using it, performing firearm maintenance, cleaning, etc., and general firearm handling. The BUT, is the lose of tactical feel in both locating +/- and adjustments of the optics red dot. Adjusting the red dot requires more force with it on than off, but perhaps the protective material used will soften and over time. I certainly do not expect any protection if you drop your firearm and the optic hits the ground first. For the price and peace of mind that the optic is protected from minor bumps and scraps then it's well worth it.

Quality Product that fits well and stays put!

I at least 4 of these on various sights and they all fit great! As an added benefit, the glare shield helps keep the sight glass cleaner!

Nice but the cover

The actual cover/guard is nice but the cover for the glass doesn’t stay in place or snap onto the cover. Not sure why it is even there. And it’s the same on both covers for different optics.

Sunset Glare

I shoot often in the evening and my targets are due West. At a certain point the sunset causes a second red dot in my SRO. This solved the issue and is a much more doable solution than putting tape over the front of my SRO. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you!!
