Installation
The OpticGard Scope Cover for the Holosun® 508T feels like a well-made, quality accessory. It snaps into place securely, making installation quick and easy. The fit is snug and gives the optic added protection without feeling bulky or awkward.
The GlareGard™ Anti-Reflective Lens does its job decently in reducing glare, but the installation could be improved. It doesn’t snap into the scope cover or the optic itself, so you need to carefully hold it in place while reattaching the cover. It works, but a more secure or integrated mounting method would make it a lot more user-friendly.
Pros:
Scope cover is high quality and easy to install
Adds good protection to the optic
Glare reduction from the lens is noticeable
Cons:
Anti-reflective lens doesn’t snap in — tricky to install
Could benefit from a more secure mounting design for the lens
Overall:
A solid upgrade for Holosun® 508T users, especially the scope cover. The lens is useful but would be much better with a more seamless installation.
